Why go here

Travel via Panjakent to the Marguzor chain known as the Seven Lakes. Each stop changes the view of water and mountains. The final stretches take time and may call for walking, so we agree the effort level in advance.

The Seven Lakes reveal themselves gradually as the road climbs the valley. Water colour and road conditions change, so the programme follows the weather and the group’s ability. Panjakent is a useful starting point for local history. An experienced driver and time to pause by the water make a real difference.
